Downtown

Most of the foto-collections about Sao Luis are showing the wellknown fotos of the historic downtown. Allthrough this typical touristic-sights are not my primary motives, I want to show you my view of that historic center, which is even protected by the UNESCO World Heritage List.

Beaches

The state Maranhao is wellknown for it's pretty beaches!

Raposa

Raposa is a little village near Sao Luis. People there live from fishing.
I tried it too!

Carneval

In March it's Carneval in Brazil.
I have been there!

Alcantara

Just one hour by boat, then you reach Alcantara!

Carajas

If you take the train 16 hours into the country, you reach the Serra dos Carajas.
