Raposa

Raposa is a little city near Sao Luis. It has about 40.000 inhabitants, but looks much smaller.
Raposa is the most north point on Sao-Luis-Island.
Here you see the lighthouse of Raposa.
People in Raposa are living primary from fishing. Of course I also had to try it.
Here it's me with Mr. Val, a wellknown fisherman in Raposa. Thanks to him for teaching me how to make fishing-tackles and to knott fishing-nets.
This foto is taken in front of his house on Rua Principal, Raposa.
That's a canoe I used to go fishing.

Here we went out to the wide Atlantic for fishing with a bigger boat (with motor).
Beside me the owner of that boat.
